Don’t Wait to Obtain CMMC Compliance

The theft of intellectual property and sensitive information undermines our nation’s defense posture and economy. U.S. costs last year are estimated at $225 to $600 billion (source: CMMC-AB and LegalJobs.io)

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is the unified standard for implementing cybersecurity across the Department of Defense supply chain. It is intended to help reduce the risk of compromise of the sensitive data that exists within the supply chain. The CMMC framework is a collection of processes, other frameworks, and inputs from existing cybersecurity standards such as NIST, FAR, and DFARS.

The CMMC compliance process was announced in January 2020. It was designed to help defense contractors certify cyber readiness. The levels of compliance readiness have since reduced from five to three in CMMC model 2.0. However, in context of the V2 review period, the deadline for achieving compliance has not changed. Organizations must be compliant by October 1, 2023.

Tego is here to help you with your CMMC requirements. As a Registered Provider Organization (RPO), Tego provides the following services:

  • Perform consulting services
  • Conduct NIST assessments for the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS)
  • Develop a Plan of Action and Mitigation (PoAM)
  • Recommend and manage mitigation services
  • Conduct a CMMC pre-assessment
  • Facilitate internal reporting at the time of a C3PAO CMMC Assessment

Your roadmap to compliance starts now. Don’t wait until 2023 to begin working on CMMC. Contact us today to get started.
