Our Panelists

Tyler Booker, Director of Tego Advisory Services
Tyler has over eight years of experience in cybersecurity and IT risk management and assessment. He has worked with Greg Manson to help build out the security service offerings of both a Raleigh-based and national MSP prior to moving to Tego. Given the experience working for a national MSP, Tyler gained expertise in a multitude of different industries ranging from healthcare and pharmaceuticals to manufacturing and banking. This gives him a wealth of knowledge in dealing with regulations and frameworks such as HIPAA and fast-growing CMMC for organizations in the Defense Industrial Base. Tyler is both a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). He is also a CMMC Registered Practitioner Advanced (RPA).

Adam Herbert, Principal Sales Engineer, Arctic Wolf
With over 25 years in IT leadership, Adam specializes in optimizing IT processes to support business objectives, aligning perfectly with Arctic Wolf’s focus on effective Security Operations that protect and drive better business outcomes.

At Arctic Wolf, Adam leverages his extensive experience to guide customers toward practical cybersecurity solutions. His approach ensures that security measures not only protect but also enhance business growth. Adam is a respected industry voice, sought after for his insights on integrating robust security with seamless business functionality.

Greg Manson, VP of Tego Advisory Services
Following an 18-year career in senior IT management positions across healthcare, medical device and the pharmaceutical industries, Greg transitioned to build the Security, Audit and Compliance department for a popular Raleigh-based MSP. He moved on to do the same for a national MSP servicing clients in all regions of the U.S. Those experiences exposed Greg to a broad spectrum of regulations, compliance initiatives and the gritty world of fighting threat actors.  His primary career objective is to help customers reduce risk to their IT systems and data. Greg brings a wealth of security, audit, and compliance experience to Tego including identifying risk through assessment and mitigation, providing systems security management, internal audit and governance solutions, leading SOC 2, Type 2 attestation and ISO 27001 certification initiatives and managing client CMMC, PCI, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR and CCPA programs.

Greg is an ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). He recently became a CMMC-AB Registered Practitioner allowing Tego to become a CMMC-AB Registered Provider Organization positioning us to assist our many customers in the Defense Industrial Base navigate the strict requirements of the Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).

Dylan Nickels, Senior Systems Engineer and Disaster Recovery Specialist
During his extensive career in IT, Dylan has helped install, configure, and manage entire data center stacks, including Virtualization, Storage, and Compute. At Tego, Dylan focuses on the multi-disciplinary field of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Data Protection, areas of IT that are increasingly important in the face of rampant ransomware and cyber-security incidents and which depend on a keen understanding of the technology being protected from the application layer all the way down to its underlying infrastructure. He is also responsible for technical knowledge transfer of completed solutions as part of customer enablement.
